Bellamy Young
Young started her career as an actor in the theater. While playing Mary in The Life's initial cast, Young made her Broadway debut in the role of Mary on Broadway in 1997. The actress has played off-Broadway on Stephen Sondheim's Musical Merrily We're Rolling Along (1994) along with Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on the TV screen in 1995 as Dr. Courtney Evans. She was a part of Law & Order as a guest star in two roles in 1997 as well as in 1998. In 1999, she made a film debut in a tiny part in the crime drama Black and White and later joined the cast of several independent movies. From the mid-2000s onwards, she began appearing in guest-starring roles on a number of television dramas and comedies, such as The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 between 2000 and 2011 Young was a part of more than thirty television shows. The year 2003 saw Young was cast as part of The USA Network show Peacemakers. After the show ran for nine episodes in a season, the series was cancelled. She was a the role of Deputy Dist. on The Lifetime drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami between 2005 and 2006 as well as Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the eldest son-in-law in the Darling Family. The actress also played a appearance on Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons between 2011 and 2013.
