Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1961) is an American author and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She is a weekly guest for The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Now. The Imus breakfast show. Legal Lis is the Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and grew up in Yakima within Washington State, graduated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from Barnard College in 1983, a Master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a US attorney. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. From 1995 to 2001, she was a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl is an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
